Fig on Fig Salad (Fig Balsamic & EVOO)

This recipe came from an enfuso fan. I never get tired of “fig on fig” recipes.

Fig on Fig Salad

When you add fresh ripe figs to a salad and then drizzle on fig balsamic vinegar, you get the fig on fig blast of flavor.

What you will need in addition to enfuso products:

  • Black kale

  • Fresh figs

  • Heirloom tomatoes

  • Goat cheese

To make the salad:

  • Create a bed of black kale. Remove the spines from the leaves, cut the leaves down the long center, stack the leaves and then slice them horozontally to produce ribbons.

  • Add fresh super ripe sweet figs cut into quarters.

  • Add heirloom tomatos cut in quarters. Note: If you do not have access to fresh ripe heirlooms, I suggest getting kumato or campari tomatoes as they are the most likely to have that rich sweet flavor typical of an heirloom.

  • Add goat cheese broken into small chunks.

  • Drizzle on plenty of dressing made of equal parts fig balsamic vinegar and EVOO whipped into an emulsion.

So simple. So so good!!”

Thanks for the share!
