Raspberry Lemonade (Raspberry Pear Balsamic)

Nothing like real ice cold home-made lemonade on a hot sunny day. But sometimes it can be a little too sweet and can benefit from a fruity balance. A drizzle of fruity white balsamic vinegar is just the solution. Our favorite one to add is raspberry pear, but feel free to substitute your own favorite!

Raspberry Lemonade

Slowly heat 3/4 cup sugar with 3/4 cup water to make a simple syrup.

In a large pitcher, add:

  • 1 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice (we picked lemons from our tree),

  • 3 cups of water,

  • plenty of ice, and

  • all of the simple syrup.

To serve, pour in a tall glass over ice and drizzle in 2 tablespoons of our Raspberry Pear Balsamic.

(Note: I served this at a food demo at Williams Sonoma with positive response from all age groups.)

Enjoy!
